Joann's Souveniers - Nassau - Bahamas

JoAnn's is a souvenir and lifestyle chain with its flagship store in Nassau, Bahamas —

directly facing the cruise passenger port, making it the first design statement visitors

encounter as they enter Nassau's tourist boulevard.

The brief required a careful balance: the store needed a strong, distinctive identity

rooted in Caribbean cultural symbols, while staying deliberately clean and minimal to

let the colorful and diverse merchandise take centre stage. The result is a space that

draws you in from the street and keeps you moving through it — terrazzo floors, a

geometric yellow ceiling framework, bold lighting, and a life-size flamingo sculpture

that doubles as the perfect Instagram moment.

The concept has been replicated across three island locations.
